The Letter
A personal essay I write each month on one thinker or one big question — clear, warm, and free of jargon.

What’s inside
Four pieces, carefully put together, to turn a trip to the mailbox into a small monthly ritual.
A Primary Text
A carefully chosen excerpt so you meet the philosopher in their own words.
Questions to Sit With
A card of prompts to carry through the month — for your journal, walks, or dinner table.
Goodies
Little treasures tucked inside: art postcards, bookmarks, stickers, and the occasional surprise.
Simple as a letter
How it works
- STEP 01
Join the club
Sign up in a minute and tell me where to send your envelope.
- STEP 02
Open your mailbox
Early each month, a sealed envelope arrives with the month’s theme inside.
- STEP 03
Slow down & reflect
Read, wonder, write. Philosophy is best taken slowly, one idea at a time.
A note from me
I started Seek Philosophy because the best ideas I’ve ever met didn’t arrive in a notification — they arrived slowly, on paper, when I had time to sit with them.
Each month, I write to you the way I’d write to a friend: about one idea that has changed how I see the world, and why it might matter to you too.
Questions
Before you join
Do I need to know anything about philosophy?+
Not at all. Every letter is written for curious people, not specialists. If you’ve ever wondered why we’re here or how to live well, you’re ready.
When will my first envelope arrive?+
Join the waiting list and I’ll email you before the first envelopes go out. After that, envelopes are mailed at the start of each month.
Do you ship outside Canada?+
Not yet — for now, envelopes ship within Canada only. If you’re elsewhere, stay tuned.
Can I give it as a gift?+
Yes — a monthly letter is one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give. Just use the recipient’s address when you sign up.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Of course. There’s no commitment — you can pause or cancel whenever you like.
